Omi Hair Care Inspires Healthy hair care for all.

Here we believe that the health of your hair comes first!

     OHC was founded by Naomi Jones. Throughout her life Naomi has been passionate about hair. Little did she know she would have such an impact on the hair industry. At 8 years old Naomi received her first doll head. She was gifted this because she wouldn’t keep her hands away from both her and her younger sisters hair. She quickly learned how to braid hair and her mother taught her to cornrow.

Fast forward to 2013 Naomi works in a beauty supply store. In this store she notices a few things.

 

1.) How one company owns almost all of the products on the shelf, just with different brands.

2.) How many women and stylist neglected hair care for a beautiful style. This resulted in a Naomi seeing a lot of customers with hair loss, usually traction alopecia.

3.) That majority of the products were simply marketed well, but did not actually benefit the customers.

 

       Throughout her first year at the Beauty Supply Naomi aimed to help customers. She didn’t know how to prevent the hair loss she was seeing. However she knew how to cover it and how to make her customers feel confident. In addition to learning covering techniques she also learned about oils and healing hair loss naturally. This lead her to styling hair out of her home and starting her first hair care company. Omi Virgin Hair in 2013. The aim of Omi Virgin Hair was to Instill Confidence. In reality Naomi knew she was being called higher. She knew that a pretty weave was not a good enough solution. It only put a bandage on a leaking ceiling However she had no idea what her role was in the solution just yet.

    In 2018 Naomi decided to embrace more. She completely changed her business. From a Virgin hair company to a Holistic Hair Care Company. She already had been making hair oil for free for her customers. She used over 10 years of knowledge to create oils and products that aim to benefit the health of your hair.
