How to get Rid of Dry Hair!

Here’s a list of helpful ways to combat dry hair:
1.) Take Vitamins
I believe in wellness that is inside out. What you put on the inside of your body impacts the outside. Making sure you are getting proper vitamins can ensure a healthy scalp
2.) Get a Trim
Dry hair is more prone to split ends. It can be a vicious cycle. A trim can help you reset your hair and aid it in feeling less dry.
3.) Consume Omega – 3’s and Antioxidants
These help your hair appear shiny.
Examples of Omega – 3’s: Salmon, Tuna & Oysters
Examples of Antioxidants: Tomatoes, Broccoli, Walnuts & Blueberries
4.) Avoid washing your hair everyday
Shampoos are like hand sanitizer. They remove the good and bad nutrients. Shampoos remove dirt and grim however they also remove sebum (the natural oil your scalp produces).
5.) Cut down on Hot Tools
As mentioned in my last blog post, hot tools are drying especially if used excessively. Using flexi rods can help you achieve to curls. Blow drying your hair on cool will save your hair from heat.
