Here are some terms that if understood now will make the following post easier to grasp! 

1.) Sebum 

An Oily, waxy substance produced by your bodies sebaceous glands. It coats. moisturizes and protects your skin. It is the main ingredient in your bodies natural oils. 

2.) Endocrine Disruptors 

a.) Endocrine

Glands which secrete hormones or other products directly into the blood. 

b.) Disruptor

a thing that interferes or alters the structure or function of a gene or hormone. 

3.) Emulsifiers 

Helps two liquids mix. Like oil and water. Adding an emulsifier will help the opposing ingredients mix. 

4.) Carcinogen 

A substance that causes cancer 

5.) Antibacterial Agent: 

A group of materials that fight against bacteria. Kills or reduces the bacteria that is pesent. 

6.) Sebaceous Gland 

A small gland in the skin which secrete a lubricating oily matter (sebum) into the hair follicles to lubricate the skin and hair.
