3 Ways to Naturally Cleanse Your Hair

1.) Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse 

Ingredients: 

2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar 

4 oz of Water 

Squeeze Bottle (optional) 

  • Directions: Mix ACV and Water together. Apply to your scalp. Rinse after 5 minutes.

  • Brings your hair and scalp back into balance - by lowering your PH Balance.
  • Antimicrobial - Helps control bacteria and fungus that lead to minor infections and itchiness
  • Helps stop hair breakage

2.) Aztec Healing Clay - Bentonite Clay 

Ingredients: 

1/2 cup of Bentonite Clay 

1/2 cup ACV

1/4 cup of water (optional) 

1 tsp of either peppermint or tea tree essential oil

Directions: 

  • Mix Clay, ACV, & water (if you choose) 
  • Mix until smooth and there are no lumps. 
  • The tecture should resemble conditioner or yogurt

Applying 

  • Section Hair into fours 
  • Apply from root to tip 
  • Massage the clay into your scalp
  • Saturate all hair strands 
  • Apply a shower cap or plastic bag to your head for 20 minutes
  • Rinse Completely 
  • * Apply Deep conditioner. Although your hair and scalp will be squeaky clean, it will be dry.

  • Apply to Dry or Wet Hair - Starting at the roots and working to the ends 
  • Let the mixture stay on the scalp and hair for 3 minutes 
  • Rinse and then condition your hair as normal
